Faustino Rivero Ulecia
Near Mendavia, between the fertile valley of the Ebro river and The Sierra de Codés rises in the form of “Atrio” this winery, where the vines guarantee a supreme quality of the grape.
The winery was built in 2003 with the conviction of creating unique wines with Marqués del Atrio label under the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin in a unique environment between vineyards and mountains.

The family business started back in 1899 and many of the traditions back then are still being used in todays advanced production techniques.

The Rivero family have long held wine within their hearts and now Jorge and Manuel from the family make it 5 generations.
